Beginner Basics sewing classes -
Level 1
A great way to begin something new - learn to sew. Start at the beginning with the most important basics. You will construct a pair of casual pants for men/women or a Butcher's Apron. The pattern, fabric, and all supplies are included. Even a machine if you don't have one.

Level 2
Sew a myriad of samples of various techniques while constructing a casual Kimono. Pattern, fabric and all notions needed are included. It is a beautiful project and 'Sew' much fun!
Level 3
You will insert sleeves, attach collars and make button holes while making a blouse/shirt you will be proud to wear. Everything needed is included. A real confidence builder!

Beyond the Basics
You started your sewing adventure with the basic. Now you will top it all off with the finishing details. Learn techniques like inserting zippers, waist bands, set-in sleeves with cuffs, linings, etc. Now you can confidently call yourself a sewer. Booked on request.

Sewing with Sergers- Are you scared of your serger.? Can't thread the darn thing? It really is a marvelous machine when you know how to use it. You will be amazed with all it can do. You can make any garment unique using techniques like flatlocking, Heirloom serging, rolled hems french seams and so much more. From prom dresses to table linens, sergers make everything easy. Classes booked on request.

Fitting garments
Learn how everything you make can fit like a glove using the Palmer/Pletsch method of tissue fitting. Build a body map to your precise body measurements to make every pattern your very own. Booked on request.

Registration is to be paid in full prior to class start date. E-Transfer or cash are preferred, charge card and PayPal available online. ​No refunds will be given unless the class is cancelled by the sewing instructor, or participant cancels 72 hours prior to the class start date (less $25 service fee). Copy Cut Sewing Studio reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop if participation level is below the minimum (2). In that case, affected registrants will be offered enrolment in a future, equivalent class to be fulfilled within the next 3 months.
