Level 1 (Beginner Basics)
A great way to begin something new - learn to sew. Start at the beginning with the most important basics, like how to operate any sewing machine and then make a simple garment. Construct a Kimono or butcher's apron. End up with a finished garment you will be proud to wear. The pattern, fabric and all supplies are included. Even the machine if you don't have one. 8 hours $440.00 (tax in).
Level 2
Sew a myriad of techniques while constructing a PJ set (casual shirt and pants). How to read a pattern, layout and cut out the fabric for a finished project you will be proud to wear. Pattern, fabric and all notions are included. 8 hours $440.00 (tax in)
Level 3 (Beyond the Basics)
You started your sewing adventure with the basics now is your chance to go beyond. Techniques like inserting zippers, add waistbands, other than elastic, shirt collars and cuffs, set in sleeves and many more. Enough samples are made to fill an encyclopedia which becomes an invaluable book to look back on when needed with future projects. 8 hours $440.00 (tax in).
Level 4
Now sew the project of your choice and make it fit perfectly. Fitting can be the hardest part of sewing, unless you learn how to do it correctly. Pick from patterns and fabric in my stash and it is all included in the price of the class. 10 hours $550.00 (tax in)
Sewing with Sergers
Are you scared of your serger? Can't thread the dam thing? It is really a marvelous machine when you know how to use it. You will be amazed at all it can do. You will sew samples of flat locking, heirloom serging, rolled helms, French seams and so much more. From prom dresses to table runners, and knit garments sergers make everything a breeze. Classes booked on request. $550, 10 hrs (tax in)
Registration is to be paid prior to class start date. E-Transfer or cash are preferred, charge cards and Pay Pal available on line. No refund given unless class is cancelled by the sewing instructor, or participant cancels 72 hours prior to the start of classes ( less a $25 service fee).Copy Cut Sewing Studio reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop. In that case affected registrants will be offered enrolment in a future or equivalent class to be fulfilled within the next 3 months.
