Level 1 (Beginner Basics)
A great way to begin something new - learn to sew. Start at the beginning with the most important basics, like how to operate any sewing machine and then make a simple garment. Construct a butcher's apron. End up with a finished garment you will be proud to wear. The pattern, fabric and all supplies are included. Even the machine if you don't have one. 8 hours $440.00 (tax in).
Level 2
Sew a myriad of techniques while constructing Pajama or casual pants or a Kimono. How to read a pattern, layout and cut out the fabric and complete a project you will be proud to wear. Pattern, fabric and all notions are included. 8 hours $440.00 (tax in)
Level 3
This final step of the basics teaches valuable techniques to be used in a variety of garments you will want in your own wardrobe. While making a casual shirt, you will learn set in sleeves, collars, button holes and more. Fabric, pattern and all notions included. (8 hours $440.00 (tax in).
Level 4 (beyond the basics)
You started your sewing adventure with the basics now is your chance to go beyond. Techniques like inserting zippers, adding waistbands, set in sleeves and adding cuffs, lining, pockets and many, many more. Enough samples are made to fill an encyclopedia of techniques which becomes an invaluable book of reference. 8 hours $440.00 (tax in).
Sewing with Sergers 101
Unsure whether to invest in a serger or not? Perhaps you have one but find it unnerving. This two hour session will answer all of your questions about sergers. You don't need to have one but if you do, bring it along and we'll conquer its' challenges. Pre registration required. $75.00 cash or e-transfer.
Sergers 102
Sergers can do so much more than just trim and finish seams. It is indispensable for sewing knit garments and stretchy fabric and a marvelous tool for French seams, rolled hems, flat locking, to name but a few. This 5 week 10 hour class not only teaches the mechanics of the machine but techniques you never knew were possible, opening your eyes and hearts to the wonders of the serger.

Cancellation Policy
Registration is to be paid prior to class start date. E-Transfer or cash are preferred, charge cards and Pay Pal available on line. No refund given unless class is cancelled by the sewing instructor, or participant cancels 72 hours prior to the start of classes ( less a $50 administration fee). Copy Cut Sewing Studio reserves the right to postpone any class or workshop within a 3 month period of the originally scheduled class date.
